Lianyungang quarterly volume surges 61pc to 919,000 TEU

EASTERN China's port of Lianyungang recorded a strong growth of 61 per cent in its container throughput in the first quarter to 919,000 TEU, compared to the same period last year, Logistics Week reported.

In this period, the port's throughput tonnage totalled 32.96 million tonnes, up 18.3 per cent.
