AIRBRIDGECARGO Airlines has extended its route network into Seoul, Korea with the launch of a weekly Boeing 747 freighter cargo service from Frankfurt.
The weekly flight will deploy a 747-400ERF every Sunday to the Korean city via the airline's hub at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport and Narita in Tokyo. Its major freight commodities are predicted to be high tech products and spare parts for the auto industry.
In Asia, AirBridgeCargo's network also includes 12 flights a week to Shanghai, seven services a week to Hong Kong, six operations weekly to Beijing and two 747-400ERF flights to Tokyo.
Earlier this month, ABC also extended its route network into Scandinavia with the launch of a new twice-weekly Boeing 747 freighter service from Malmo Airport to Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow. The new routes form part of ABC's network development strategy in Europe and Asia.
