MOL names 30-year veteran to head up Americas division

MITSUI OSK Lines subsidiary MOL (America) has appointed Tsuyoshi Yoshida as its new chairman, president and CEO.

Mr Yoshida brings nearly 30 years of container shipping experience to the post, which he is scheduled to fill on June 22 of this year.

Before taking the role of general manager at MOL (America) in 2003, Yoshida was stationed in Europe where he oversaw MOL's East West Trade Management division.

The Yokohama National University graduate first joined MOL at its headquarters in Japan in 1981.
