Officials of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) have signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Asia Foundation to prepare strategic plans for the full development of the 2,367-hectare Clark Civil Aviation Complex as a service and logistics hub, the Manila Bulletin reported.
"This agreement with Asia Foundation will prepare the strategic plans for the full development of the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) as a service and logistics hub," said CIAC president and CEO Victor Jose Luciano.
The Asia Foundation will provide a team of consultants for a period of two years to assist CIAC in the preparation of the strategic plans for the development of the DMIA. The agreement stipulates that CIAC and Asia Foundation will have constant and continuous exchange of information to ensure the success of the program.
The Asia Foundation will also provide training programs to enhance the skills of CIAC's planning, marketing and operations personnel.
