TAIWAN's Yang Ming Marine Transport will be making a comeback in Far East-Australia sector as it tags on as vessel to the CKA service jointly operated by Hanjin Shipping, STX Pan Ocean, and Sinotrans.
The inclusion of Yang Ming, which plans to contribute one 4,253-TEU ship to CKA, will coincide with an upgrade of the service that will see average vessel capacity raised from 2,100 TEU to 3,750 TEU, reported Paris-based Alphaliner.
In other expansion news, Marseilles-based CMA CGM said it would upgrade its Black Pearl service connecting Kingston, Jamaica, with New York to a weekly loop with the addition of a second ship.
