Singapore Increases Container Turnover

PSA Singapore has reported a 12.1% year-on-year growth in the volume of containers handled in the year to date.

It said its domestic terminals handled 7.12m-teu between January and March 2008 against 6.36m-teu in the same period last year.

PSA, which operates both foreign and domestic facilities, stopped disclosing throughput figures for its overseas terminals in 2007.
