Damco opens contract logistics facility in Hong Kong

MOLLER-Maersk forwarding and logistics arm Damco has opened a new 8,000 square metre contract logistics facility in Hong Kong.

The facility is designed to offer domestic and export distribution as well as trucking, drayage, and quality assurance services to its clients in the apparel, industrial, and consumer electronics sectors, reports UK's International Freighting Weekly.

Damco contract logistics head Marky Mak said that it would help facilitate a "quantum leap" in the company's available service.
