The Islamic Republic of Iran and Brazil agreed on the launch of a joint shipping line in near future, head of the IRI Shipping Lines' director for Planning and International Studies said.
"Iran-Brazil shipping line will be launched on the aim of expanding trade between the two countries," Ali Ezzati said.
Once the line was launched, trade exchange and interactions of the Persian Gulf states and north of Indian Ocean with Latin America will be increased and facilitated remarkably, he added.
The line will also decree transition expenditure between the two countries' ports, he mentioned.
