CTSA hikes currency surcharge back to 6pc on May 1

CANADA Transpacific Stabilisation Agreement member lines have announced a May 1 increase in their currency adjustment factor charge, which is a return to the previous six per cent, having dropped it to five per cent this month from the six per cent charged in March.

CTSA members include APL, Cosco, Evergreen, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, "K" Line, NYK, OOCL, Yang Ming and Zim.
