EC closes its probe into Baltic Max Feeder plan

2010-04-01 00:00:00

The European Commission (EC) has closed its probe into a potential violation of EU competition rules in the 'Baltic Max Feeder' scheme for feeder ship owners because the scheme has been abandoned. The probe was intended to determine if the objective of the scheme was to decrease capacity and increase charter rates. Anchor Steuerberatungsgesellschaft notified EC in February 2010 that the scheme has been abandoned, Logistics Finland reports.
