HONG KONG's Overseas Orient Container Lines (OOCL) has announced rate increases and peak season surcharge on Europe to Australia-New Zealand cargo, said a company statement.
Rates will go up US$100 per TEU from March 1 on cargo moving from ports in north Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea to ports in Australia and New Zealand.
A peak season surcharge of $150 per TEU and $200 per FEU will also be applied on March 1 on cargo from north Europe to Australia and New Zealand due to high demand.
"In order to maintain and strengthen the high level of service quality and a comprehensive global liner network for all of our customers," the company explained.
