Lianyungang January throughput up 17pc

EASTERN China's port of Lianyungang handled 10.6 million tonnes of cargo in January, up 17 per cent year on year, Xinhua reported.

The volume was said to have surpassed the average monthly target based on the port's annual target this year of 120 million tonnes.
