Wan Hai Lines and Pacific International Lines have restructured their weekly Asia-Europe coverage with the introduction of a joint Far East-Europe (FES) service using nine ships of 4,250 TEU capacity.
The carriers will each operate four vessels and the ninth will be jointly deployed. The current slot charter arrangement on Coscon’s Asia Europe service will cease in March 2010.
This Far East-Europe (FES) service will have the following port rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shekou, Nansha, Singapore, Port Kelang, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Port Kelang, Singapore, Shekou and Shanghai.
The first FES sailing is scheduled to leave Shanghai on March 13.
