Hamburg Sud hikes rate for Asia-India, Pakistan, Mideast trades

GERMAN container line Hamburg Sud has announced a general rate increase for all cargo from India, Pakistan, and the Middle East to North, South and Central America as well as the Caribbean and northern Europe of US$200 per TEU and US$400 per FEU from February 15.

This will be followed on March 1 with another rate increase of $100 per TEU and US$200 per FEU on cargo from north Europe to India, Pakistan and the Middle East.
