Adani moves for east coast port

Gautam Adani-controlled Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone Ltd (MPSEZ), which runs India’s biggest private port at Mundra in Gujarat on the west coast, has opened talks to buy Gangavaram port in Andhra Pradesh, according to local media. If successful, the acquisition will help Adani gain a foothold on India’s eastern coast.
