Vostokbunker and China's Huayuan Shitun deal on mazut M-100 brand supply

Vostokbunker CJSC and China's Huayuan Shitun (Hunchun) concluded an agreement of intent for the supply of petroleum products. The agreement of intent was signed on January 20 in the Yangtze (China) by  Sergey Zhidkov, the executive director of the VB oil terminal who had been visiting China with a delegation of Khasan region, the VB press service reports today.

According to the agreement, the Chinese company is going to purchase mazut of M-100 brand from Vostokbunker. The delivery of fuel to the territory of China will be carried out by tank trucks through the checkpoint Kraskino - Hunchun. The two sides have agreed on initially small parties of cargo, but later, when the supply system will be arranged, the minimum volume of transportation is said to be 10.000 tons a year.

The contract is expected to be signed in the third decade of February, when representatives of the Chinese side will visit the port and Slavyanka oil terminal of Vostokbunker.

Vostokbunker owns the third largest marine oil terminal in Primorsky Krai (Territory). Its annual throughput is about 40 percent of liquid fuel for inbound shipment intended for the northern regions of the Far East under the state order. Vostokbunker supply fuel for Magadan and the Kamchatka regions. Vostokbunker also produces marine fuel of its own “VB” brand and certified fuel F-5.
