Maersk Line Ltd. to exhibit oversize military cargo option

Maersk Line Ltd., the U.S.-flag arm of the Denmark's A.P. Moller Maersk Group, will exhibit an out-of gauge cargo option from ITL TechnologiesT Solutions Inc. at the National Defense Transportation Association's annual conference next week in Charleston, S.C.

ITLT Solutions?design, Contrail, allows oversize cargo that can't fit into containers to be transported on conventional containerships. According to the release it doesn't require any special handling equipment and can fit in containership cargo holds without modification, allowing for stowage below deck.
