Zhangjiagang port's throughput up 20pc in first 11 months

EAST China's Zhangjiagang port registered a 20.2 per cent increase in throughput to 136 million tonnes, reports Xinhua.

The port has completed its annual goal before schedule which aims to moved 135 million tonnes of cargo, including 35 million tonnes of foreign trade and 900,000 millions TEU.

The port handled 36 million tonnes of foreign trade and 786,000 TEU in the first 11 months, respectively up 31.2 per cent and 8.3 per cent year on year.
