The Russian Far East is set to have a new container terminal with investment coming from Fesco, the local government and Chinese and Busan port authorities from South Korea at Nakhodka, 100 kilometres south east of Vladivostok.

The Nakhodka International Terminal will be located alongside Nakhodka's old fishing port. Rail links and expressways to the port will be included in the development plan. The eventual goal is to have a 400,000-TEU capacity terminal, according to St Petersberg's Portnews News Agency.
