Hong Kong stocks close 1.12% higher on Wednesday

Hong Kong stocks rose 236.70 points, or 1.12 percent, to close at 21,328.74 on Wednesday.

Turnover fell to HK$44.19 billion ($5.70 billion) from Tuesday's HK$45.96 billion ($5.93 billion).
