Ningbo Daxie port area's box volume up 10pc in first 10 months

FROM January to October, Port of Ningbo's Daxie terminal area recorded a cumulative container throughput volume of 1.02 million TEU, up 10 per cent year on year, Xinhua reported.

The volume took up 11.9 per cent of port of Ningbo's throughput total during this period.

Daxie port area's throughput during this period grew 13.4 per cent to 40.7 million tonnes, taking up 13 per cent of Ningbo port's total. Foreign trade cargo volume increased 6.3 per cent to 23.7 million tonnes, taking up 15.8 per cent of Ningbo Port's total.
