Russia's Kaliningrad enclave volume falls two to three fold

CARGO volume at Russia's Baltic Sea enclave, Kaliningrad Commercial Seaport, decreased 2.3 times year-on-year between January and October, with empties reaching 12,740 TEU.

According to a report by Portnews News Agency, October turnover figures specifically saw decline to 170,300 tons, 2.2 times less than in 2008.

Total imports and exports from January to October meanwhile also fell considerably, as did ferrous metals turnover.
