Maersk to call at Total Terminals International in Oakland

TOTAL Terminals International (TTI), which runs container facilities in New York, Oakland and Seattle, has announced that Maersk will start calling at Oakland with its transpacific TP5 and TP7 services in January.

The US-flag TP5 service also calls at Dutch Harbor, Alaska, then sails to Korea and Japan. The TP7 service sails from Oakland for Kaohsiung and then to Korean ports.

The terminal said it will bring 60,000 container moves a year to the 120-acre facility with its two berths and four superpostpanamax cranes.
