Michael J Dye joins Ecu-Line as Regional CEO – Asia Pacific

Mr. Michael J Dye has been appointed as Regional CEO – Asia Pacific of global consolidator and NVOCC Ecu-Line effective 1st November 2009. His region will comprise the Far East, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand and he will be based in Hong Kong. Announcing his appointment, Mr. Kris De Witte and Mr. Marc Stoffelen, CEOs of the Ecu-Line group said that “Mike comes with years of experience and outstanding performance in our industry and also in the region. Having known Mike for many years we also know that his vision for the business, work ethic and management style will integrate well with our own”

Mr. Michael Dye was earlier working with Vanguard Logistics as Chief Operating Officer and was one of the members of the top management team of the OTS Group.
Welcoming Mr. Dye to the company, Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman of Ecu-Line Group said “With Mike coming on board, we expect our aggressive growth plans for the region to get a fresh impetus. Asia Pacific is an important region for us and with strong management in place we would be making further investments to strengthen our market position and to serve our customers better.”

The Ecu-Line Group is a world wide LCL consolidator with over 120 own offices in 58 countries spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. Ecu-Line was acquired by the Mumbai based logistics player Allcargo Global Logistics Limited in 2006. Allcargo has multiple business streams in the logistics space including LCL consolidation, Container Freight Stations and Equipment rentals and is listed on the Bombay and National Stock Exchanges.
