Wan Hai reports quarterly loss at US$41 million

WAN HAI Lines has reported a third-quarter loss of NT$1.33 billion (US$41 million). The cumulative net loss for the first nine months of the year was NT$2.53 billion ($78 million).

The company recorded a NT$3.15 billion investment loss of which NT$1.68 billion was taken in the third quarter. It did not disclose details of the nature of the loss.
