Evergreen hikes rate US$150/TEU north Europe-Asia November 1

EVERGREEN has announced a rate increase of US$150 per TEU on cargo from November 1 on services from north Europe and the Mediterranean to Far East and Indian sub-continent.

The increase, said the Taiwanese shipping line, rated the world's fourth largest, is based on "lack of space" and increasing cargo volume, said the Evergreen statement.
