Royal Navy of Oman to acquire hydrographic survey vessel

The Royal Navy of Oman is planning to acquire a new hydrographic survey vessel.

According to the US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), the arrangement will be made through the US Government’s Foreign Military Sales office.

The vessel is to operate within Omani waters performing hydrographic survey operations in depths between seven metres and 1,000 metres.
