OOCL hikes China-Australia rates

OOCL took the container liner industry's "rate restoration" drive to China-Australia trade lanes, announcing increases on shipments from Hong Kong, Macau and South China to Australia.

Effective from shipment on-board date Oct. 19, rates for all dry and reefer shipments will go up $250 per 20-foot equivalent unit, $500 per 40-foot container and $500 per 40-foot high cube container.
