New exam for Klaipeda port

On the 9th of September 2009 the longest and the biggest capacity containershipMSC Anielo“called Klaipėda port (Lithuania).  
The length of containership  MSC Aniello“ built in 2000 is  259,5 m, beam – 32,2 m, and maximal draft – 13 m. The ship agent of this longest and biggest capacity in the history of Klaipeda port containership is  UAB MSC Vilnius“. The ship flies Panama flag.  
Containership MSC Aniello“ moored at LKAB „Klaipėdos Smelte“ operated quay No 82 on the 9th of September. 1211 containers are planned to be loaded and discharged (or about 1500 TEU). The total capacity of a ship is – 4056 TEU.
Under favourable weather conditions, containership MSC Aniello“ is planning to leave Klaipėda in the morning of the 11th of September 2009.
