Government unveils noise protection plan

The German Government has come up with a plan for lowering transport noise. Until 2020 noise from air, road and rail transport is to be reduced by 20%, 30% and 50% respectively. The total cost will be EUR 4.60bn (USD 6.54bn), Logistics Finland reported.
