CMA CGM increases Europe to Australia rates

CMA CGM has announced rate increases on cargo moving between Europe to Australia and New Zealand from September 15.
 
According to the Shipping Gazette, southbound cargo from Europe to Australia and New Zealand will have a rate increase of US$300 per TEU. Northbound cargo from Australia and New Zealand to Europe will have a new rate increase of US$200 per TEU.

Since August 15, an increase of US$175 per TEU is also applied to all cargo moving southbound from the US East Coast and the US Gulf Coast to Australia and New Zealand.
