ZIM to implement a General Rate Increase

ZIM informed about a General Rate Increase (GRI) of USD 250 per TEU. It will be implemented as of September 1st, 2009. The GRI covers the trade from Asia and the Indian sub continent to North Europe, West Mediterranean, Adriatic ports, East Mediterranean and black sea.
This increase is essential in order to maintain current levels of service and high reliability.
