Ship traffic at Ventspils Port limited due to strong winds

Ship traffic has been limited at the Ventspils Port because of strong winds, as the Ventspils Port authorities informed LETA.

At the moment, there is one ship waiting for permission to enter the port.

Wind velocity at Ventspils Port has reached 20-22 meters per second, and it could further increase to 25-28 meters per second in gusts later today.

Ship traffic at Liepaja Port has not yet been restricted.
