OfficeMax, FedEx team up on shipping service

OfficeMax will offer domestic shipping with FedEx Express and FedEx Ground at more than 900 of its stores by this fall, the two companies announced Monday.
  

FedEx services were rolled out in select Chicago and Memphis, Tenn., locations in mid-June. By the end of September all OfficeMax stores will accept drop-off packages from FedEx customers.
  

The OfficeMax drop-off sites will complement FedEx’s retail network, including 44,000 drop-off boxes, 1,800 FedEx Office locations, 6,000 FedEx authorized package stores, and 725 FedEx World Service Centers.
