Turkon Line joins GT Nexus customer list

GT Nexus has won a contract from Turkon Line to provide transactional e-commerce services to the carrier’s global customers.
  

Turkon Line, which calls ports in the Mediterranean, northern Europe and North America, will integrate its back office systems to support online ocean booking and documentation transactions with multiple global customers through GT Nexus’ online portal.
  

“Customers prefer transportation providers that can offer proven, simple e-commerce services,” said Baris Begen, SAP process development and statistics department manager at Turkon Line. “We selected GT Nexus, because it has been the ocean industry technology platform for years. The fact that many of the world’s biggest shippers are paying GT Nexus customers speaks volumes about their ability to deliver value to the industry.”
