Germany adopts all-ports scheme

GERMANY'S federal government has underlined its commitment expanding port infrastructure with this week’s adoption of a national port concept.
The scheme does not propose any new projects but does offers reassurance to shipping that planned investments will not be delayed by the recession.
It also represents the first attempt for a coherent strategy for all German ports and pledges priority
